  • Failure phenomenon:Cross Feeding
    Cause of failure:

    1.Improper adjustment toward the left and right guides
    2.Improper adjustment toward the front guides, left and right front guides are uneven.
    3.Improper adjustment toward the backstop
    4.The bearings and pins inside the feeding platform are worn down.
    5.The sun feeding wheels are worn down
    6.The rubber feeding roll is worn down due the jamming.
    7.The gap of feeding roll is uneven after replacing a new roll.
    8.The stainless grid plates are worn down.
    9.The level of grids are not the same in the feeding platform.
    10.The power of suction is too small
    11.The fan doors are operated improperly according to the size of paper.


    1.Adjust the left and right guides properly.
    2.Adjust the front guides until the gap is even
    3.Adjust the backstop properly
    4.Replace the bearings and pins.
    5.Replace the sun feeding wheels
    6.Replace the rubber roll
    7.Adjust the position of eccentric gear until the feeding gap is even
    8.Replace the stainless plates
    9.Replace the grid assemblies
    10.Increase the suction power
    11.Operate the fan doors according to the size of paper.

  • Failure phenomenon:Feeding issue ( variation)
    Cause of failure:

    1.The feeding is wearing evenly
    2.The rubber roll is aging and its hardness is higher than A45
    3.The Sun Feeding rubber wheels are worn out and aging
    4.The feeding gap is not adjusted properly
    5.The suction power is not enough.


    1.Replace a new rubber roll
    2.Replace the new sun feeding wheels
    3.Adjust the feeding gap properly
    4.Adjust the suction power

  • Failure phenomenon:The papers can’t be cut off by the die
    Cause of failure:

    1.Improper die pressure
    2.The tools of die are not parallel
    3.The anvil covers are abrasion seriously.
    4.The sponge around the trimming and waste area is not enough.


    1.Adjust the die pressure.
    2.Fix the tools of die, ensure their parallel.
    3.Replace the anvil cover
    4.Add more sponge around the waste area.

  • Failure phenomenon:Register variation in diecutter unit
    Cause of failure:

    1.The pulling gap of diecutter unit is too large
    2.Improper adjustment of die pressure
    3.Too less sponge around the cutting area in the die
    4.The anvil cover is worn out and aging, too hard to transfer the paper.


    1.Adjust the proper gap in pulling roll
    2.Adjust the proper die pressure.
    3.Add more sponge in the die , the hardness of sponge in finished area should be low, the one in the waste area should be higher.
    4.Replace the anvil cover

  • Failure phenomenon:Slotting colliding and slotting burr
    Cause of failure:

    1.The wearing block of slotting base are worn out
    2.Move the slotting position after removing the blades
    3.The copper screw nut is damage due to the improper maintenance
    4.The upper and lower slotting bases are not alignment


    1.Replace the wearing copper block of slotting base
    2.Kindly remind, if the slot process need to remove the slotting knives, have to move the knives to the appropriate position before dismantling the knives, it is forbidden to move the slotting bases after dismantling the knives.Slotting knives should be mounted immediately after production is completed.
    3.Replace the copper nut.
    4.Improve the maintaining toward the lead screw. Lubricate the lead screw and nut to reduce the abrasion of copper nut.
    5.Adjust the alignment toward the upper and lower blades.

  • Failure phenomenon:Crush in slotting line
    Cause of failure:

    1.The pressure of pre-creaser is too heavy
    2.The quality of paper is too low
    3.The paper is too dry
    4.The grams of paper is too light


    1.Adjust the pressure of pre-creaser
    2.Improve the quality of paper
    3.Increase the cardboard moisture, add a spray device toward the creasing line position
    4.Increase the gram of paper and its strength
